YES’ mission is to serve homeless and at-risk youth by providing critically-needed resources which empower them to become self-sufficient. YES provides these resources to youth experiencing homelessness through trauma-informed support, develops leadership and employment readiness of youth and partners with youth to advocate for systems of change.

The day to day:
The Grants Manager, under the guidance of the Development Director, is responsible for the writing, submission, reporting, and compliance of all federal and institutional grants for the agency. The position will be responsible for a portfolio of 60+ funders and a fundraising goal of over $1.5 million. The Grant's Manager responsibilities include researching new grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, analyzing internal and external data, preparing reports to funders, as well as overseeing grant compliance.
Essential Job Duties
Grant Writing
Build relationships with institutional funders through timely, professional, accurate, and strategic communication and applications.
Maintain, manage, and oversee institutional and federal grant portals to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
Work closely with programs and administrative teams to gather accurate information, data, and financials for use in proposals, reports, and external materials.
Research new grant opportunities.
Compliance and Data Analysis
Review all government contracts for the agency and serve as the internal compliance contact.
Oversee all grants and contracts to ensure they are aligned with grant requirements and program budgets throughout the grant or funding period.
Oversee preparation of grant compliance reports for funders and ensure work is completed by the deadline.
Coordinate accurate, and timely drawdown procedures to ensure federal grant compliance.
Work with program staff to develop and implement processes to ensure grant compliance.
Job Requirements

Ability to meet strict deadlines in adherence to grant compliance.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Two (2) to three (3) years previous experience with grants administration required.
